Nat's Christmas Gifts

Hello one more time! I promised Nat that she could have her project on the internet too. She is making one of these boxe for each of her classmates as a Christmas gift. We are planning on filling them with candy! She is definitely my little crafter!!

Sassy Studio Design Challenges

Woohoo!! My second post today! It feels so good to be creating so much lately. I've finished another project and am also done with some notecards. I need to get pictures and then I'll post them.

This first card is for the Sassy Studio Designs Bonus Challenge. The requirement was to include a SSD image on a card inspired by the new Disney film "The Princess and the Frog." Lindsay was even so sweet that she provided a free froggy image to use. I'm not sure if you can tell but I used blue sparkly fluff on the feathered mask and I used gold shimmerz on the frog crowns. Can you tell I like my sparklees??sthat even a word?

I also used the Mercy Sketch 49 from last Tuesday! I love her sketches and Mercy's blog is soooo inspiring!! I also used the Crazy4Challenges Week 13 Punch Happy challenge.

DZ Doodle CC5 and The Pink Elephant Challenge

I love the long weekend!!! I was able to get all my chores done and still have time to craft. I made the two cards below for the DZ Doodle Color Challenge. I made both using the sketch43 from Card Pattern Sketches.

The shopping girl card was really fun. I don't know if it shows up but I used blue sparkly fluff on her boa and liquid pearls on her long pearl necklace. The cocoa cup images also meet Challenge 42 over at The Pink Elephant.
















I'll be back later to post a few cards I made using Sassy Studio Designs for a couple challenges they have going as well!! I am soooo excited because they will be having another release on Tuesday!! I just can't get enough of their images!!!

More Cards to Share...

My folks took the girls today and overnight so we were able to do some Christmas shopping and go to dinner! Tonight is just DH and I hanging out! I thought I'd show a few more cards I've created this weekend.

These are both very simple cards made using digi images from DZDoodles. I figured I better do some easy ones so that I can mail them without any hassles. I've always had trouble when I mail cards with ribbons, buttons, rhinestones, etc....



I also wanted to take a moment and say thank you to those of you who visit and leave a kind comment. I'm really enjoying my creative time and it is such a bonus to read your generous compliments!

How I spent my Black Friday ...

For me, today was a Pajama day--no store shopping. I did manage to spend a bit on line today. I love Ellen Hutson for their copic sketch mark and various ink refill pricing and selection. So, I took advantage of her Black Friday sale to add to my collection. I also ordered a few digi stamps here and there.

I made a few cards today as well. I used Fred She Said's new Emma with her frills on and one of the poinsettias from the Poinsettia set to benefit Smaritans Purse.



I also finished the following card using Sweet N Sassy Stamps, another of my favorite stamp companies.


I'll have a few more cards to show tomorrow. I'm also going to start working on some Christmas gifts as well. Hope everyone had a joyful Thanksgiving and fun Black Friday!!

Layouts from WIP Retreat

Yikes - a whole week has passed. I don't even know where the time went. I have a 2 day work week and then 5 days off. YAY!! We are taking our girls for a surprise stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky Tuesday night and Wednesday. They love it there and have NO IDEA!! I can't wait to see their faces!

Weekend Wrap Up

WOW what a great time this weekend!! I attended the fall WIP retreat at the Bertram Inn and had a wonderful time!! I was able to meet several of my fellow willows from willow trader. I even accomplished a few LO's that I'll share soon!! Some I'm hoping to submit for my Faithfully Yours DT projects.
